European Microfinance Awards – Rwanda

A project developed with InFiNe (Inclusive Insurance Network) and Herd Represented, to tell the stories of the three finalists for the European Microfinance Award 2025. The project consisted of three different shoots in Rwanda, India and Kenya, with the three organisations that were competing for the award. All three were insurance companies, with microfinance projects aimed at helping disadvantaged communities.

This is the video we created with Radiant Yacu, in Rwanda, who then won the award.

As producer, I wrote the pitch and prepared the application for the call we won. I managed the relationship with InFiNe, overseeing the contract and communications between our team and theirs. For Rwanda, I supported the shoot remotely, handling pre-production: visas, permits, flights, and travel logistics between locations, and coordinating and briefing with the team at Radiant Yacu on the ground. Once on location, I supported the production remotely by checking in and fixing issues as they arose. In post-production, I handled expense reporting, invoicing, and checked the final deliverables.
